Likeminds

Likeminds is an in-house social platform developed with Misto, our product design partner. It helps people find others with shared interests, create events, and build connections in their local community.

We delivered the mobile application, backend and API, administration portal, and promotional website. Privacy settings give users control, while moderation tools help administrators respond to content issues. Security, reliability, and capacity for growing usage were considered across the whole system.

An expanding feature list called for an iterative rollout. We reorganised dependencies and introduced features gradually, using feedback, usage data, and A/B testing to guide the next release. When a third-party chat component fell short, we built a custom solution to gain the flexibility, security, and scalability the product needed.

The platform launched on iOS and Android, supported by the operational tools needed to manage a public-facing community. Extensive logging made it easier to investigate issues and respond to feedback.
